Becoming a Donor

This year alone, countless Canadians will depend on plasma or its related products.

At this time, not all Canadian Blood Services locations collect plasma through plasmapheresis. If you are interested in becoming a plasma donor, please call 1 888 2 DONATE for more information, or contact one of the following locations:

A physical exam is required for plasma donations that are more frequent than 56 days. A whole blood donor can not donate anything within 56 days of his/her last whole blood donation. After the 56 days, he/she can switch to plasma but again the physical would be required if more frequent than 56 days.
